Have you used them yourself? How are they in the rain? Are they quiet at speed?

I have them on my GoWesty 15" alloys. 205/65/15.
Very nice tire. Quiet on the road and handle well. |

Thanks for all the 14" tire data. Ed, I appreciate the tire source in LA - have been searching far and wide. I am most likely going to run the General Grabber AT2's. 27 x 8.50 x 14 Does anyone have experience running on steel rims on a 84' Westy? Will probably get 14" OEM mags soon, and they seem to work well. Thanks and enjoy the Spring camping season _________________ Thanks for shopping Samba - Have a great summer camping ! |

Hi,
There is somebodies using the Nokian C Line 185 R 14 C ?
I wonder to know if it's a good tire and quiet also.
Nokian has a very good reputation, but I never heard about this model of tire.
Thanks in advance, _________________ Martin from Montréal

Resurrecting an old thread.
Im running 185R14C on standard steel rims since I have the van.
Now I got a set of Atiwe pepperpot alloys and I need new tires anyway.
As 205/70R14s are still not a common size I was searching through available sizes and found some 205/75R14s (Hankook RA18).
Is anybody using this size? Are there any noticeable driving differences compared to the factory sizes?
edit:
the available 205/70R14s are:
Nexen Roadian A/T summer (SUV)
Nexen Roadian A/T 4 season (SUV)
Nexen Roadian CT8 (commercial)
Nexen N'blue HD (XL load passenger)
Semperit Comfortlife 2 (XL load passenger)
Falken Ziex ZE-914 Ecorun XL (XL load passenger)
Any experience on these? _________________ Zoltan

I love my michelin defender tires . I know they don't have the weight rating for a fully loaded camper , I have a near empty tintop used for short haul camping trips here on island and they seem just fine . |
