I was going to post this in the normal split bus whine thread, but this is a general view of Brazilian specific prices and comments.
Has Brazil not gotten word that bus prices are declining? All the Brazilian bus prices seem to get higher and higher. Most of them I think the price posted should be in Brazilian Real, which is about 1/4th the dollar, yet the ads say "USD". Some are complete bondo buckets wanting over $30,000 USD for them or more. |

I think - for the most part - that the US has still not gotten the word.
But from what I've seen, they've only dropped a tiny smidgen here. Which to me suggests that any perceived price drops are the effect of some sellers merely attempting to gain an edge over others' price points...and also, in some sense, corresponds with my theory that most people don't really want or need to part with their Buses, unless they can "cash in" on it, then they'll part. Egg Bus is a perfect example, Gabriel said it's $20K or it stays, and he prefers to make room for it in the warehouse and keep it. |

I have also noticed bus prices tapering here in the US. One part of that I think is the lack of good buses available. Good solid buses especially campers just dont seem to pop up that often. I think a lot of bus owners tend to finally get their hands on a good one and they hold onto it. I see lots of massive projects or poorly restored buses circulating but well restored or solid originals dont pop up that much. |

I have been hoping that the market would crash for years. Lets see '90s prices again... or at least '00s prices. _________________ .

👍Amazing! You’ve seen this schtick before?
No posted prices, what do you figure they would go for, Carnac? 🤔 _________________ What are the last 2 words of the National Anthem?

Hahahaaa, just observing the obvious. I wonder what kind of good faith assurance one has to give the seller to unwrap those seats and see just how puffy they are. Hopefully not as puffy as the doors on most Brazilian rehabs.
$30 - 60K seems to be the going rate. |

so let's get this thread going a bit ?
this 74 Brazilian Samba is advertised locally over here. I have to say that the seller is a real nice guy, surfer dude, but not mechanically inclined, and he probably does not know what he has.
it's the type of bombastic ultra mega professional classified though. 40k range.
this is reality:
my favorite part is rocker panel and wheelwell alignment. I don't know if they grow bananas in Brazil. Probably.
another nice touch is the ' restored camper trailer'.
it has a 70 pds rear hatch, and no vents. I am sure, that whoever rode and lay in this trailer before, didn't need any air anymore. it is a converted German hearse trailer.

Once had a dream I had purchased a used surfboard, it was made mainly of peanut butter, needless to say it dissolved the moment I used it.
My point is, are these creations even road worthy? Or will they break apart?

That looks like one of Yumos' creations out of Indonesia.
Where in the world did you obtain those photos??? They look like the result of some clandestine investigative operation to expose horrific atrocities! I couldn't imagine any seller presenting those. |

I took these myself during inspection of the 'bus' a week ago. I thought these were to funny to just keep in my private files...
Hopefully pics like these will help prospective future bus owners to look a little further than believing a stupid commercial classified. _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !

original German ad states : 'fully disassembled before perfect restoration'.
ummm - yeah !
here's 2 more. loving the zip tied garden hose type bowden cable, literally 'spot' welded cargo floors and why bolt on an ignition coil, when you can also weld it to the engine ?
