Yes. The 1-3/4" shoes are near exact match, actually Speedway Motors repo Lincoln shoes, and the ends that fit cylinder are near identical. Travel near identical with VW being better suited. And we figure much lighter being less the V8 on top of front axle. We're going to try it and see. Since it's a bolt on, easy to change back. Pictures soon. |

Ill ask the obvious... cause I'm curious.. .. why not just use the Ford cylinders ??

The beauty of being able to run 100% VW Brake lines and not swapping to 3/16 x 5/16-24 anywhere. 😀 |

Guess the shoes you're using are kind of fixed at one end ,bit like the VW ,not the self energizing type setup which some Lincolns(?) had ? Once they're well adjusted & lining curvature close to that of the drum , in conjunction with the VW cylinders ,should work well & with stock VW master, will feel similar in use & have similar front/rear balance to stock ,but looking much cooler , a great idea ! |

Guess the shoes you're using are kind of fixed at one end ,bit like the VW ,not the self energizing type setup which some Lincolns(?) had ?
