You’ve got .520” on a 42mm valve and expect similar power to .600” on a 44mm valve? Bigger vents and tuning isn’t going to fix that. _________________ 4inBhore

Sounds like good HP numbers from a normally aspirated street motor, sure the deck height might be large but it's a street motor right? Depending on the port work you might have more cam then you want. If the heads aren't flowing enough to get the RPM's up with that W series cam why not step the cam down to work with the heads and bring the power band down in RPM so you get more use of it. Peak numbers are great for braggin' but flat lines on screens run better times. |

I had big #’s in my head for large 86 x 104.5 engine. 250 was my hope. Great engine builder, I couldn’t get over 210 at 6500. Wrong combo, not enough compression 9.6 and not enough intake port work for a 50mm intake.
Just because it’s big doesn’t mean it wil have BIG #’s
I had the heads ported and compression bumped up to 10.8. That’s about all I can do to this combo to get the most out of it. Won’t know how much it helped until next month. |

This is the perfect answer.
The tims stage 2, 42mm, w130, are all geared towards torque in a street bug. Nothing wrong with it, i bet it drives great. Later if you wanna run like Marks SSB you have to actually match his combo though. |
