Resurrecting a dead thread... I'm 14 and have had 2 VWs. First the '67 beetle
I got this last December. It's a work in progress and I'm hoping for paint by December so I'll have to start working on weekends.
In April I got a '71 Westy
It was rough and I wish I hadn't sold it. So, lets see if we can resurrect this thread and get more posts in it from new young samba members! _________________ '67 Beetle L41

Hey all,
I'm 15, been a member of thesamba since I was 13. My dad is huge into VW's, we've been working on a 1963 15 window for the past couple years and it is finally back on its wheels as of this past weekend:
Myself, I've had two crappy, rusty project buses, a $200 1972 Bay Westfalia (sold):
And a 1962 White/White Kombi:
It's kinda pathetic looking back over the years and seeing so many other people my age with super nice dubs that they've put so much work into, I promise when the 15 window is done I will have a more fitting contribution to this thread I still have the 62 but I'd much rather trade for another bus or a running, driving beetle!!
This thread looks like it has for sure slowed down over recent years but it would be awesome to see some more people my age showing us all what they've got!!! |
