Ooh, been a while since I've posted here. Just checked it out and saw my thread. There are some updates actually. I've got a bunch of stuff finalized and this Saturday I'm actually going to start it. Then all I really need to do is throw on the bumpers., hood and decklid. I'll see if I can scrounge some pics up but I kind of fell off taking pics of it, because more often than not I'm just working on it when I get a chance. I have two kids now and a job that works me 60+ hours a week. But I'll scrounge some pics up and see if I can't update this thread. Next month will be 11 years I've owned this and I've still never heard it run. _________________ Jason

Ok, so this took me a little while to finish. Just a bit longer than planned. But I did just finish it all up and took it out and snapped some lazy pics with my iPhone. Just figured I'd update this thread. There are a ton of steps between my last update and now, including a new 2054cc motor that I built for it. But in any case here we are and here it is.

Just spent the last few hours going through this thread. First off, let me thank you for your service to this great country.
Amazing work, your attention to details is commendable.
Definitely gives me some inspiration for the '58 sitting in my garage.
Cheers! |

Late reply, but thanks all. I sold the car and I'm looking for a new project now. Going to build a Notch or a Square if I can find the right one. I also sold my ghia. _________________ Jason
