The bottom pic is 215/65-15 rear tires. Their too big, plus the belts shifted. And the top is 195/60-15. Both have 145's up front. I think the 195's are kinda short. But I had them laying around. What's a good choice in between? 195/65? 205/60?

And yes, I know rear tire diameter affects RPM. Lol _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

I had 195X70 Michelin on the front but they rubbed, so I had to go down to 185X60 Firestone. 205X70 Toyo work fine on the rear. I've been buying Quality Used Pairs cheap to test/run for a couple years. The Rich guys take them off with lots of tread still on them! _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

I have 185/60 on eight spokes. Need rears for that combo, too.
These 195/60's were a take off of a coworkers car. I told her, "hey, when you get new tires, tell them to keep the best two for me." And she followed through. I'm probably order 205/60's from Amazon. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

With both being close to the same size (25" vs 24 3/4") I think 205/60's would be the better choice, being wider.
As usual, just my 2 1/2 cents (I'm Canadian, eh). Al _________________ On a lifelong mission to prove (much to my wife's dismay) that Immaturity is Forever!! |
