My newest purchase, 1982 Westy diesel which will be getting an ABA swap soon.
Was originally a California bus from San Diego. Imported in 2004, has ZERO rust.
As found:
Still not washed but with my Tiguan steel wheels and T3 hardware!

Our's ist still missing. It is a multivan from 1986 in “toscanabeige (LT1M)". Formally it was wbx, last year I converted it to a diesel. As we bought the car in 2012 I didn’t like the colour at all. Today I really appreciate its modest and unintrusive effect. All the best from Germany. Simon

Thanks! I took it in Switzerland about two years ago. Sometimes I’m still really ambivalent about the colour and looking for ideas to tune the style. Searching for pictures of beige vans I found this great post. Thanks for collecting all the pictures!. In the next time our van will get 5-star alu rims (Ronal), (slightly) tinted windows and a beige front spoiler… |

I would trade my 1989 LC3Y Bordeaux Metallic Camper GL for a comparable Beige Westy any day of the week ... |

Nobody seemed to mention this, but..... Here in the north country where there is a bunch 'o crud on the roads in winter, cars can get to looking pretty crummy. The best solution is to drive the car for a month and then take it to the body shop and have it painted exactly the same color as the road crud. Guess what color this is................BEIGE.
Beige super off road maxi adventure wagons sure look pretty cool while in the desert. And definitely cooler than the heat gain of an Orly Blue.
Not quite beige, but of all the T3's I had, my favorite was Silver Flash |

Always hoping I'll run across a member who knows where my old '85 is.
It was seen near Auburn, CA about 2018.
The bike rack on rear hatch, sq tube roof rack, and the stainless step near the slider door are DIY.
It has 7" CIBIE' lights in the grille (DIY). _________________
