Hey there,
I have recently acquired a bunch of old split parts and found these brackets in the bottom of a box. I know the ones on the left are conversion brackets to eliminate lever shocks, but does anyone know what the two brackets are on the right?

those are the other brackets required to mount telescopic shocks. lever shock cars had no upper shock mount, so these brackets create one. _________________ drive your split. |

Terry, I also had (maybe still have) some of those brackets. As far as I am aware they were a genuine item created to convert from lever to telescopic shock absorbers as I seem to remember that the first ones that I saw had part number labels on them.
I have also seen a different type of bracket assembly to do the same job, the origin of those I do not know. _________________ Rod,

Hi Roll,
How much did you pay for the new set of brackets? _________________ Terry Gaudet

Hi Terry,
The cost was $275.00 plus shipping ($20.00 Priority Mail) for the complete set of two upper mounts and two lower mounts.
