This seems super high to me given that:
1. It doesn't include the center drink tray

Roughly the same proportions of cost-to-asking-price for the crumpled, buckled sieve-like rusty baskets that are dredged from forests and swamps on a weekly basis and photographed for sale here before they're even strapped to the trailer. Albeit, as some around here opine, "they're doing the community a favor by bringing them to market." |

The best line of his ad "if you want a tracking number ad $3. If not no tracking number will be provided" WTF??? Last time I checked tracking numbers are provided for FREE. It takes about 30 seconds to snap a picture of the receipt and send it out in an email. You want to be paid extra for something that is just a common business courtesy? |

I think you would be hard pressed to get $10/pair for those at a vw swap meet. |

I think it was an arbitrary cynical joking comment about the $10 and not meant to be literal. _________________

I have taken piles of original door panels to swap meets, and people won't buy them for any price unless they are nice or have nice trim strips on them. The people with low standards don't usually pay much, and have usually already found cheap junk to bolt onto their bus.
These panels might clean up to look decent, but they still wouldn't sell for much and it probably wouldn't be worth the time to do it.

I sold a bunch of og door/wall panels at an OCTO show. That worked pretty well.
People mostly want the front door panels. People also want the colours which were not reproed.
The side bulkhead panels don't tend to go missing. I would be happy to sell some for $10 ea + shipping. Como green, mesh grey, mesh platinum, I think I even have some caramel side bulkhead panels.
I may be bringing out og panels to shows this year, though. But it may not be worth the hassle. |

Strange that it's right hand drive.
I could imagine a private owner/business importing a used one from the UK (RHD) to avoid Swiss new-car taxes, but I'd expect their postal service would be ordering new from VW. _________________ Andy

Is this because they're 'multi-stop' vans and each property has its own collection/delivery mail box, so it's safer to drive a wrong-handed van than to keep stepping out in to traffic?
In the UK, most of our post is delivered on foot and collected from a a street-corner post box, so mail vans don't stop that often. _________________ Andy
