I looked up walkthrough mats on BD and I guess 68-79 Are the same so maybe you're right - cut too small. Ugh, measure twice, cut once! |
Check split forum just in case. Someone there will know, and they had a narrower body so likely to be the case. _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

That's the relief for the ultra deep shag carpeting.

I've been super busy with work so it took a little longer. But, everything shipped today. Let me know how it goes!
I also put up an add for the additional sets

If the link is a no-no, I'll edit it out.
Thanks

I had some custom parts made for my bus of which I have extras.
This is a little part that is no longer made and most people probably don't care about. But it's made from rubber and therefore needed to be replaced in my bus. These are rubber dampers that act as dampers/spacers between the torsion springs for the rear hatch. They prevent the torsion springs from rubbing together and might eliminate creaking noise from the rear hatch, though I have yet to test this. Mine were cracked and one was falling apart. I picked up some 3/8 rubber sheet and had a friend cut out 40 sets on his water jet. I only need a couple of sets
I would like to give out a couple of sets for other people to try. I only ask that you post a photo of them installed or of your old cracked piece that needs to be replaced.
PM me if your interested.
Here are my original crusty bits

Just received and installed on my 77. Thanks so much for sending them out. Mine fell apart as soon as I touched them. Think you cornered the market here. Hope you sell a bunch. Cheers!

Greater Seattle Area:
Moving. Old Bay stuff must go. The pictured is free to pick up - as a lot, all or nothing - sort of an Easter Egg hunt.
BTW, the big hulk is a BN4, never tested and missing the condenser for the spark...
Available for pick up in North Seattle.

Right! But wouldn’t those other parts and tools be great for the 76 in Oly. Of course the heater is coming home to PDX for the 72. _________________ Keep on Busin'

I've got a bus depot car cover for a bay window with the slider door zipper on both sides. It's got a hole by the passenger side slider from the sliding door catching it, but still functions pretty well. If you want it, it's yours. |
I call dibs. Let me know how much for shipping to Portland, OR |
If for some reason xevin changes his mind I'll say second dibs! Been needing to pull the trigger on one of these for a long time due to my extreme lack of garage. |
I no longer need the cover. TweedLinn has first dibs. It has a few tears. Easy to fix. For my purpose i didn’t patch them. If I did I’d use fabric iron on hem tape.
I believe when Spiked shipped from Michigan to Oregon it was around $35. Use that as a gauge on shipping cost. I also have a whacky work/life schedule so don’t be in a hurry. I’ll PM TweedLinn to see if he still wants it. _________________ Keep on Busin'
