Can someone confirm that the 01P valve body in a 2000 EVC has 5 shift solenoids and 2 TCC/EPC solenoids like the 01M and not 6 shift and 1 TCC/ECP? I want to be sure to order the correct parts before I mess with this thing.
Thanks

Same as 01m:
shift solenoids on n88, n89, n90, n92, and n94; EPC solenoids on n91 and n93. _________________

Why not just make a custom set of wires with a Y splice in them. Then you could just run one distributor. |
I don't think electrickery works that way |

Cool, that's what I thought. My vendor asked me to confirm before he sent the parts.

Aren't 01M and 01P valve bodies essentially the same? _________________ Casey--

Same castings, but orifice sizes and springs are different. _________________

I'm sure an 01m valve body will shift an 01p transmission, but I don't know if the ECU will be able to adapt to the different rates of shift engagement, either because of differences in the valve body or differences in number of clutches in the respective clutch-packs. _________________
