Different strokes for different folks. I'm asking this with no I'll-intention and out of plain curiosity, why are you getting a 5 inch beam if you aren't going to slam it? |

All these rims look super clean tucking up front, but I think the rubber band tire in the rear looks terrible. There needs to be some sort of sidewall back there. Some way some how |
Hows this?
fat and skinny look.. its all up to the builder.. anything is possible |
I know this is an old post, but this car looks perfect the way it sits. How does one achieve this look? Tire size, wheel widths, long or short axle, narrowed beam, dropped spindles, bags? |

Question again..for you guys running 17” brms…how does the cars ride compared to some like 15” ones?and for pre 67 cars did you have to modify headlight buckets? |

I have both on my '70 baywindow and definitely notice a difference in ride quality between the two. The taller sidewall on the 15's helps for sure, but when compared between the same size OD (height) tires, the difference is only 1" in sidewall height. In my case it's a 65 series on the 15" wheel compared to a 40 series on the 17". I will say I am content with either and am not deterred to run the 17's. Hope this helps. |
