This was a week ago at Conejo Valley Cars 'n' Coffee. My fastback, and Jim's awesome Ghia, among others. Mostly non-VW but a great meet-up twice a month.

Since Mothers Day is approaching, how about Your VW With Your Mother?
Tough for those of use whose mothers have passed, but maybe this time we allow vintage "mom" pics as well as the official contest entry? |

I'm not sure you'll all count this one, but it's mom in my camper on a roadtrip
yeah one of those MOM and Me VW roadtrips.. wanted to take her places while she was still in her 70's..
this moment was at the base of Mount Washington's autoroad in New Hampshire. she's not all too fond of mountain roads, twisty roads or heights.
2nd pic is of her at the Summit (handicap parking is best of course) next to the Cog railroad trains.

I'll slip this other gem of a mother picture.
here's mom leaning out the window on Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina..
did I mention she doesn't like twisty roads?
took her from NY to Smokey Mountains, and the full length of the Blue Ridge parkway in the fall.
