Some short Google search for "sailboats 1979"...
it looks like a Neptun 22 model from arround 1979
(German glass-fiber boat, later model have differnt windows, available since 1967 till today, 5 sleeping bunks, elevating roof)
Weight 1300 kg, length 7.00 m, width 2.50 m (data from an ebay entry of a 1979 model)
see also http://neptun22.de e.g. the 1971 model.
The late bay with big engine could tow up to 1800 kg officially in Germany - so this fit - no fake.
(as mine with Westfalia hitch 321125 and 2000 ccm engine)

IF that were on our highways the driver should be shot for a manifestly unsafe combination.
Way too much weight for the brakes and steering capacity of a Bus, regardless of what the Mfg once spec'd _________________ .ssS! |

Things were little different back then, not everyone had a powerful car to haul things, especially in Europe! _________________ 1975 Westfalia in Brilliant Orange

I don’t care if people kill themselves but unsafe trailering kills others.
I would only shoot the driver. If I am in a good mood I would do a through and through. See, we do have gun control here. _________________ .ssS! |

My buddy tows an Eriba puck behind his 1600 SP 70 bus. This is up a 5000’
ascend. He does just fine.

The thought of someone speed bagging my nutsack makes things shrink “like a frightened turtle”. Thanks for the sleepy-time laughs Xevin. Wait....boats! _________________ If you haven't bled on them, you haven't worked on them.

That Hobie is a 500 LB load with trailer and won’t be noticeable behind any car..also no windage. That keelboat....no.
It’s really hard to shoot hummingbirds on meth while your sack is getting speedballed. _________________ .ssS! |

Is that the one you ran out of fuel in while out on the lake? _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

14-foot '63 Elgin runabout, been in the family since '64. Needs some work but basically solid -- I "rescued" her from my parent's backyard and this trip was the first time she'd been in the water in 20 years. |

That isn't the one you heard Adam talk about in the wedding. That was Boat #2.
Adam did run the pictured boat out of fuel once last summer. I was the one who got us going again. I called people who lived near where we were floating helplessly and flagged down another boat. The other boat took me to shore, and helped me get a 5 gallon gas can that they brought to shore, and took me back. _________________ Dave Cook
