Their is a way to find the ratio by turning the input shaft and counting the revolutions , do a search on here _________________ 'Black Ice'Drag Buggy 'Turbo'

thanks! I think I've read it somewhere... but the problem is, the axles are still on my 1200. Do you think this is a Brazilian tranny since I can't find the code in the code sheet |

You could have put it in second gear and counted the revolutions by now.
Put it in second, rotate until whatever you can see is in a position you can judge, clamp vise-grips on input shaft, do ten revs, count revs of diff.
What determines the gear ratios is the gears inside, not the numbers stamped on it. |

Will this work even without the axle? I only have the tranny itself |

You have a Brazilian made gearbox. The part number of the empty case says so. _________________
