I tried to search this code but I can't find it anywhere. Anyone familiar with this code? BS15055 I just want to know if it is a 4.375 or a 4.125 Thank you!

Their is a way to find the ratio by turning the input shaft and counting the revolutions , do a search on here Wink

thanks! I think I've read it somewhere... but the problem is, the axles are still on my 1200. Do you think this is a Brazilian tranny since I can't find the code in the code sheet

You could have put it in second gear and counted the revolutions by now.
Put it in second, rotate until whatever you can see is in a position you can judge, clamp vise-grips on input shaft, do ten revs, count revs of diff.

What determines the gear ratios is the gears inside, not the numbers stamped on it.

Will this work even without the axle? I only have the tranny itself

look in the hole the axles goes in. What's in there?

You have a Brazilian made gearbox. The part number of the empty case says so.
