Bosch 205M and a H 30/31 PICT with throttle positioner ready to install on my new single port heads. I disassembled both 100% and dropped the carb body into Chem-Dip. I had to make a filter out of felt for the throttle positioner. someone here on The Samba had posted all the info I needed.

Going to make time this weekend rain or shine to install these and a new exhaust too:)

And I'm finishing up painting the correct oil bath air cleaner too.

SWEEEET!!!

Did you get the two jets on the right-hand side of the carburetor in the correct places? Some have inadvertently switched those (ask me how I know) !!!

Glenn - I put one fiber washer and a shim on the top, and the same on the bottom. The shaft top to bottom and side to side is a little snugger than I anticipated, but it does turn freely.

Cusser - that may be an issue. I somehow forgot to make notes or photos of that. I live at 7000 altitude feet btw. I did change the jetting. I have the one on the left at 55, and the one on the right is 50. I also changed the main jet to 120. I don't know what I'm doing and may have switched the 2 jets. I was going to try and research before this weekend.

I calculated my jets for 5000 feet because I drive down to that level frequently.

I've rebuilt a few carbs, but never re-jetted. I am all but clueless how this will work out to be honest.
