Weird, it looks like a '63 to me so not sure why the "semaphore" areas would be hacked out |
maybe it was an upgraded 59 euro bus? i do not see front blinkers.
or perhaps somebody tried to turn a 63 into a 58? _________________ regards

Leave It To Beaver episode 21, 1962 at the end by the roller coaster is a small window bus. It cost's $1.99 to see it unless it comes back on ME TV. |

It's on vimeo "Leave It To Beaver - S05E21 - Beaver’s Fear", bus at about 17:10.
I don't know how you even spotted it. It's in the background for about 5 seconds mostly obscured by actors.

You will have to watch really quick, like the first 2 seconds of this commercial to see as I drive by in my single cab. There are 2 other split buses in view right after I drive by.

That's a cool commercial. Wouldn't mind seeing something like that pop up on the local television channel. |

What's really weird is the show is either sponsored by Ford or Plymouth/Chrysler and they hardly ever let any other make show let alone a foreign one.

Set the speed to .25 and you can really check it out. |

Looks like a '64 or '65 Riviera. Show was ABC's 1969 aired 4-23-19 episode 1 about the Apollo 11 moon landing. Spotted at launch view site.

Yeah, their Mr. H had never driven a stick, so I put the kibosh on that right quick.
I'll tell you something, it's no mean feat to drive even your own Bus with a globe on your head. |

Not sure if this thread is "Splitties in commercials on TV" or "Splitties on TV or TV commercials".
On Amazon Prime TV you can watch a show called Weird Wheels. This is a guy that stores and protects Art Cars. This warehouse/lot was somewhere around Houston I think.
