Harvesting, also started 4 more. Trying to get a quick round in before the late summer humidity.

Great results so far!

Good job, maybe its time for a "Bays and bongs" thread. Fat glass makes for smooth tokes.

This is a very interesting thread. Seems like a lot of work to go through and a lot of hassle and expense, unless you're just growing it as a hobby.

But then I'm in Oregon where there is a weed shop every few blocks and the price for a 14 gram bag of Girl Scout Cookies is $25. At that price I don't know how they even turn a profit.

In pot legal states, its a toss-up whether to grow at home or buy at a store, unless you grow outside ( sun is free ). Many indoor growers like experimenting with new strains or procedures that can increase yield or various profile expressions. Indoor grows usually come in at a buck a gram. PNW has lower electric cost , so maybe the price point for profitable cookies is lower ( or its a loss leader). Many growers and users see this plant as an essential, relaxing, ingredient to help our stressed out society cope with the basic strain of existence. Thus an addition to the overall supply carries a reward.

It becomes an addictive hobby in that growing something alive really pulls you in and gets you involved. You are responsible for a life. Dozens of decisions to make thru a grow and a reward at the end if you make the right ones. If you screw up, its frustrating but not $$expensive. It takes more time than money so a low $$ entry cost. No one I know does it for a profit, they just enjoy the journey.

for me it helps when i dont have to hit the shop for a few months. i just keep them outside in large pots and trash cans. harvest as needed. a buddy wanted to do the proper set up, but by the time the expenses arrive, its not worth under x plants like me.its cool just flexing what you grow. thats it.

Over the last week or two I picked up this years menu. In no particular order, 1 of each.
Pineapple Express
Pink Money
Afghan Skunk #1
Gorilla Glue #4
Slyme Cookies
Black Cherry Soda.
Sheesh, the names these days. I'll need to harden them down to 14 hours of light and get them planted.
How was your harvest Palmer?

Yes, the 4/20-harvest celebration lasted a long time!! Very Happy Very Happy

Harvest was great, thrilled with the results. Mandarin Cookies and Banana Hammock are the current favorites. 0.66 gram/watt. Fire OG and Banana Punch are very strong!

Curing 2/3 of it, froze the rest.

Excellent, anything over .5/watt is great. Sounds like you had some fun and learned a lot. Surprising what you can accomplish with a small tent and some lights. Congrats!
Timing/light is good for outdoor finally. Good luck getting all rooted Goat. GG has a great rep and this is my first time with that pheno also excited about the pine express. Would have loved to do some Bruce Banner, northern lights, Tangie… so many choices.... but w/ clones I only get what is available at the time.

Poppies also. Both schedule I drugs but not for reasons most think. Its because you cannot patent a plant. Follow the $$$

Also, to criminalize a segment of society to disrupt the counterculture movement.

My nephew gave me a plant Sunday afternoon.

I wonder what vermin I need to worry about.
Are slugs attracted to cannabis plants?
They wreak havoc on my tomato plants. Well actually the fruits. Not the plants.
