It is one of my 6 bow kits. Take a close look at the four "feet." They appear to be just square/flat stock steel- that sit flat on one plane and are parallel to each other. I'd insist on seeing it neatly resting in a split bus rain gutter before calling it a split bus rack.
Also, is that a typical rust pattern on the joints? I don't know because I've never seen a bekowa rust like that- more like all or nothing around here. _________________

Those racks are fro two different models of trucks/vans/lorries. The first set has outboard clamps vs. the inboard (VW style) on the second more-used looking set. This should make the search easier. Maybe looking into other Euro brands of trucks from the era for clues will help. _________________

Perfect fit.
Only some bigger rubber around the legs to give it some more clearance.
Is a t2 roof higher in the middle than a t1?

That looks really good up there! It would be a nice addition to a working class truck or bus (my DC comes to mind). T1 of course, since we have so few T2s to choose from! _________________

I always have trouble translating the terminology, but I do know that a split bus roof has a slightly taller peak than a bay window bus. A bay bus rack will fit a split with just barely enough clearance.
If that rack barely clears a bay bus roof, it likely will not fit a split. _________________ nothing |
