Rare to see one in a Japanese series. This series consists of 10 episodes and is called Maison de Police. The van has round headlights but it does have the A/C tunnel inside.

One of many VWs from the documentary "All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records."
This bay window is at the Tower Records on Sports Area Blvd. in San Diego where I shopped. Very Happy

Probably a Grateful Dead fan, living in the van, waiting for it to open so he get the latest album.

No wait, he'd wait for a friend to buy it, then make a copy on cassette.

What was I thinking?

I saw "Chasing Classic Cars", the guy found two early 1960s Ghias in a barn that were really nice, had his shop finish up the restorations, and sold them to the VW museum of a VW dealership in New England.

Just started watching "Good Morning Vietnam". It is supposed to be in 1965 Siagon and I saw a 70s bug go by during the bicycle chase with Robin Williams. There is also a Ghia earlier in the movie.

I saw this Ghia in multiple street shots.

Spotted these 2 Super 'verts in an episode of Tabitha. Tabitha was a short lived spinoff of Bewitched, late '70s. Lisa Hartman plays Tabitha and drives the yellow car.

The car is featured quite a few times in the show, and during the opening credits.
