What is the difference in these 009's? Is one preferable over the other?
Do they have the same advance curve?
I'm making up a spare for my travel essentials box

They both appear to be Bosch. Look at the bottom to confirm. Also check to see if they say Germany, Brazil or nothing. _________________ Glenn

They're both in about the same condition - bushings are nice and tight. Guess I'll just pick one and rebuild it. I don't plan on actually using it anyway. _________________ Repeat after me "I am smarter than metal!" |

I'd choose based on if there's any play in the rotor shaft and how smooth the advance movement is
They changed the style of the ID stamps circa 1978. It's tiny and probably at an odd angle, but they should have a Bosch date stamp on them.

I do not know how to fix this. All I can say is it all works fine for me with what I use, Firefox.

Where are the ones that just say Bosch, but don’t have a country of origin from, and how is their quality compared to the others? |

They are Brazilian.
Not as good as the German, but a lot better than Chinese. _________________ Glenn
