the "TUG" hill plateau just east of Lake Ontario's eastern shore does get serious meteorological levels of snowfall. without having to go into the Mountains..
and can be quite a bit less just 20 miles in any direction away.
but I don't feel we're really that exceptional.. unless one wants some serious snowmobiling country. _________________

February camping in the Poconos, 0 degrees out and 8 inch snowfall the day before. One of the best trips we had, buses handled the snow like champs |

Took Abbie to drop off her race ski’s for a pre-season tune up.
Did a drive-by the Iconic Mount Washington Hotel.
Stopped up at the “Woods” to pick up her ski pass.
Across the street looking back at the slopes.
