I dont think this guy realizes that once you put that decimal point it doesn't matter how many zero's you put to the right of it it's still 30 British pounds which is a lot closer to the actual value of this thing then the 30,000 pounds he was trying for |
Obviously the guys doesn't know what he's talking about, first off Calling it a camper van then bragging about varnished wood cabinets.
I think he is trying to sell a future finished bus, but I can't imagine it turning out well, not for that price. |
In Germany, the period is like our comma and vice versa. It might be the same for the Britons. Still, guy needs a new keyboard; his caps-lock button is stuck. _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

I can't speak for the Britons because they died out a long time ago, but in Britain we use commas for the thousand separator and periods for the decimal separator.

That bus is 1/2 hour from me, if anyone wants a personal inspection. I doubt there will be any takers at $25K. Maybe $5K? _________________ nothing |

At 5K it'd sell right away as a roller with a title
15K still seems high.
FWIW, it has the old WA plates - white with green letters. Mountain plates were issued in 1986. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_Washington_(state) , they were not the plates issued to the bus in 1964.
Some time around 2000? WA made all vehicles get mountain plates if they did not already have them. I was irritated as my 61 had the white with green letters plates, which I thought was cooler.
Imagine if California made everything with black or blue plates buy new plates. It was lame. AND you had to pay for them.
Seven years late I had to buy new plates again and pay more for them.
Eventually they stopped making people buy new plates every 7 years.
Anyway, what that means is this bus has been off the road probably 20 years at least.
Dude should get it running and embarrass his kids with it.

That is the result of shoehorning a huge displacement (can you say 1835cc?) engine in an engine compartment designed for at most 1500cc!!!! The negative pressure clearly tacoed the decklid.
