Okay, I fixed it in less than 5 minutes with my pocket Snap-On screwdriver, but still, it counts...
Tonight at work I replaced my fragile /cracked Temp 2 sensor connector with the newer style that has the release wire on it, and a new rubber dust boot( mine was missing)
Apparently I didn’t open the holding tab of one of the connector pins as well as I should have, and one wire backed out of the new connector.
I had Crank But No Start condition when I tried to restart the Vanagon after stopping for an Ice Tea on the way home.
Pop the Rear Hatch open, take off my engine access cover and head to the last thing I touched....
A gentle pry of the retaining tab upward on the pin, and back into the connector it went. Close everything back up

That's TOTALLY what you get for listening to Ice-T instead of Hendrix and Zeppelin and stuff!!!

. Nope, I spent 4 years of a high school on the East Coast and fell in love with Thin Crust Pizza .
Deep Dish is not my thing.
Growing up in Texas, we had only Chains for the most part like Pizza Inn and Pizza Hut, and a few others.
4 Yrs outside of Philly with local pizza places, and trips to New York City cemented my love of Pepperoni Thin Crust... _________________ '68 Westy- my first VW and vehicle/Bus- long gone.- sold it to a traveling Swiss couple....

Well done. It feels good when you use that instinct to just reach in, nod you head and think "yeah, I got this one". Hope they're all like that! _________________ 1987 2WD Wolfsburg Vanagon Weekender "Mango", two fully locked 80 Series LandCruisers. 2017 Subaru Outback boxer. 1990 Audi 90 Quattro 20V with rear locking differential, 1990 burgundy parts Vanagon. 1984 Porsche 944, 1988 Toyota Supra 5 speed targa, 2002 BMW 325iX, 1982 Toyota Sunrader |

Pizza pooper.
That preference must rile up the neighbors in the Windy.
Yep, western pizza just don't get it -- but the tacos are sublime.
But you missed the Big Q:
Gene Autry or Deep Purple?
Congrats on the fix. Always feels good. 👍🏼 _________________ ‘84 Westy, 2.1L with Digijet, 5.43 R+P, GT Gears
