Great place for little girls to pose.
Oh,- and for Dads to survey the tailgating scene at the U2 concert at Giant's Stadium (and pose).

Because if you add a disco ball to the interior you might need more room to dance.

I don't recommend this on a early bay, they just aren't built that sturdy

I disagree, you can see the flex in that roof along the gutter/seal gap. It's the same top as the early bays, we had one, no way I would put any weight directly on it. _________________ 1971 Karmann Ghia - 1600 DP

Correct... and at least '73 got stronger flat bar hinges but I still wouldn't put weight up there. Migrating from a '70 to an '84 I'm blown away by how much more structural the entire pop top and associated parts are. _________________ 1971 Karmann Ghia - 1600 DP

In the old days we just stood there.
Now there's a different standing style.

Killer piece of the planet there! BIG vertical relief! I was lucky enough to build a skatepark there for 3 months a couple of years ago! _________________

That’s an old-school tARP awning
.....and there’s a fold down table hinged on the passenger door. _________________
