And no one has mentioned 3D printing so far? 🤔 |
Van Cafe and Bus depot both said that they will have their new batch in soon. I'd imagine the replacements are cast/metal. I am not familiar to the strength of 3D printed materials. _________________ Brandon

I doubt they would be up to it…I was crackin' wise. Seems like any broken/NLA part is a candidate for this so I was surprised not to hear it mentioned. _________________ Currently -> Frida: 87 Tizian Red (mostly) Vanagon GL Westfalia w/ 2.0L ABA conversion

We got a bunch in, they all shipped out immediately, and we have more coming next week. They are already in transit to us. Demand has been exceeding supply. Anyone who has one on order will be at the front of the line as soon as they come in. As of now we have enough coming to fill all existing backorders plus some new orders as well. I may have to get one for backup.
Anyhow, the handle from buslabs fixed my problem. My key doesn't work the best however. I used graphite spray (lock-ease) but still not as smooth as I'd like. Next time I pop off my door panel I plan to take my cylinder to a lock smith and have him build a new key and rebuild the lock cylinder. _________________ Brandon
