I finally got to see the CRW bus at this past Bulli Brigade in Clearwater. Sadly I didn’t get to meet the owner as he was too busy taking press photos, doing interviews and shaking hands.

For me, this is what the old VW scene is about. One day i’ll grow a pair and take my bus on an adventure. Until that time comes I’ll spend my time washing and waxing it. But to drive the bus from NY to FL with the history of that prior trip to Bulli takes serious balls and a comfort with risk which I can only envy. Applause Applause Applause

I found some very cool history on Coram Rug Works, the company.

Neat, and the last owner of the Coram Rug Works held the record of 150 mph in a midget racer at Daytona speedway. The 2019 Bullibrigade is to be held at Daytona. Maybe Manny can try to top the record in his bus?

I'll see what I can do, but I have a feeling I'll be breaking the slowest speed record at Daytona this year, and bring it full circle for the Ed Hawkins/Emanuel Hernandez Coram Rug Works racing team.

I'm planning on bringing the Alaska Acme Highroof, sos we can park two of the coolest original logo buses together at Daytona!
