Need help identifying unknown brackets!

Can someone help me identify these two brackets. I have a 71 super beetle autostick and these where in a container of misc. bolts and engine parts. Thanks.

Deck lid hinge support bolt lock plates. They are sandwiches between the m6 bolts and the hinge arm of the deck lid.

Thanks VW_Jimbo. Had a few parts left over from assembling engine from a box. Ha Ha! I have used this site over the last few months and have learned a lot. Thanks again for the quick reply and photo.
