|
|
I recently purchased this huge vintage floor vase. It was made by Wächtersbach Keramik and originally used as decoration of a VW dealer showroom.
It shows VW subsidiaries all around the world. As there is the VW 1500 already, I it was made after 1961.
Does anyone know more about ? Are there more out there ? Different styles ?
Maybe anyone has vintage pictures of a showroom with this vase ?

Very cool. Any kind of makers mark on it? Even the stand is proudly displaying the VW support. _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches |

Yep, that's badass, and I especially like all the trucks! Cool find. _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

That's fantastic, but they were a little off on their geography. Englewood Cliffs is in New Jersey. At least it's the right country! _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.

I like the "hidden" VW symbol in the stand's legs. |

That's funny - maybe there is another Englewood Cliffs ?

Englewood Cliffs N.J. was Volkswagen of America's headquarters in the '60s and '70s. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.
