Volga, GAZ M21 I wonder what sort of pull you had to have in the "party' to get a new VW? Even to get a GAZ M21 you had to be someone pretty important in the commo world. |

That's an interesting Pic posted here a few years ago. It's the 1917 Indian Munro Special as built and developed over several Decades by Kiwi Burt Munro,which Burt bought new! and which holds the Stock Frame class record at Bonneville . The picture looks to have been taken in the US ,possibly at one of the many peoples places he would stay at on his many trips to race in the USA.
Burt was the Subject of the movie 'the Worlds Fastest Indian". |

Looks like a 66 with a spring loaded antenna, gravel guard and snowboard racks
Looks like hes on his cell with AAA after some nice guy pulled him to a rest stop.
