the sidecar was loaded on the rack of his bus and the scooter was inside of his bus.

No, you will not unfortunately. We had a family vacation planned and they changed the show dates from June to July.

A few pictures from the weekend. These were taken up Fairview Canyon, UT.
The campsite next to us had a Porsche that was used to fetch wood.
Electric Lake is the background.

This is Mike. Mike owned this bus from 1972-1982. I tracked down his address and just showed up at his door to surprise him. Boy was he surprised and happy! He told me a ton of stories about the bus. He purchased it for $93.00usd and drove it all over the USA, Canada and Baja Mexico. I let him drive it and it was good to see him smile.

yes he sure is. He told me a story about going to jail for 5 nights and the bus got impounded with a case of Canada beer under the rear flip up seat.

I just re-read your thread Tony, what a great story and Westy.
It was great to see this bus in person at the Spring Picnic, thanks for coming down and camping out with us. I will try to get up your way for some events, soon hopefully!

I concur with Brandon. It's really cool to see such an early flip seat and all the work you have done to it.
It was great meeting you in person and thank you for the invite to come hang out with you guys the next time I am in SLC. I will definitely hit you guys up.
I hope you guys had a trouble free drive home
