I'm looking for seat covers for my 1/3 2/3 front seat, it's a 1973 single cab. The remains of the original covers are brown square weave with no heat pleats or seams, just plain vinyl. Is this a commercial specific thing? Or a 73 model year thing? All covers I see available have either horizontal or vertical seams. |

I do believe that commercial vehicles got plainer upholstery.
Are you looking to reupholster? Because I did my '75 SC with covers from Sewfine, and I love them. I'm just about to write up the upholstery part of my build thread. _________________ John

They are the original covers and I'd like to replicate them as they would have been when new. Do sewfine do factory looking square weave material? I must look at their site. |

No, I don't think Sewfine uses that material. But TMI does.
I opted for fabric just because I can't stand sitting on vinyl, especially on a hot day. If some future owner wants to reupholster in the original style vinyl as part of a perfect restoration, it's not hard to do. _________________ John
