Saw them on the Songs About Fucking tour in Minneapolis. Santiago Durango Esq. is the second guitar- Dave Riley is bass, but you're correct, he was a monster player. They all were. |

Trying to build up a vinyl collection... Found these at the thrift store today for 50 cents apiece, looked like some interesting stuff

Greta Van Fleet (2018) Anthem of the
Peaceful Army album
Saw them last night on a SNL repeat...
The lead singer is the younger brother
of the twin guitar players (sickness)
EDIT: Stand corrected:
Greta Van Fleet is comprised of four
young musicians -
twin brothers Josh (vocals) and Jake
Kiszka (guitar), both 22, younger
brother Sam (bass/keys, 19), and
longtime family friend Danny Wagner
(drums, 19)

I'm looking forward to it also, but can it be your favorite album of the day if it doesn't exist yet? _________________ nothing |

Picked up this CD at a yard sale last weekend for two bucks. Threw it in the shop rotation. Good stuff. Wasn't a fan back in the day, but times and tastes change.
VW content, too.

That album has aged very well over the years. |

I agree. Some sort of jazz/funk influence into the punk stuff.
I became a Mike Watt fan after somehow stumbling into this album way back when. I have dug the style since then.

Damn!, I'd buy that just to hear what some of those songs sounded like, the titles are great! _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Double Nickels is my life's blood. Marooned on an island and allowed only one record, that is the one.
It's a miraculous thing, and they banged it out more-or-less live in very short order.
I think it's the most important postpunk recording.
