Replacement Eurovan (2003) fuel vapor canister - will this work?

185 bucks on carid.com. Anyone know if this will work? I'd rather replace than hack up my existing one and hope to fix it.

Actually I just bought this on sale from VW parts network.
$128. That's a good deal and most of our Eurovan cannisters are at the point of failure by now.

Just work all day and hack it open and then throw in some Kingsford along with some Hickory wood chunks. Then your van will smell like a BBQ.
