I've searched...anybody know how to remove entire dome/map light assembly? I've been prying but seems to either be stubborn or about to snap a tab. Direction of push/pull? Thanks much |

Hey,
I have not done this one, but if you don't get an answer. Contact GoWesty and they will tell you. I had questions like that before and they are always happy to answer.
Best,

I have a weekender and to get that light out I use a putty knife. It'll feel like it'll break but it does come out. I've had mine out a number of times and every time it seems like it would break. |

Thanks for that @jjvincent. Right when it feels like everything is about to break, it releases. Now, I've found a small "handle" with a black cap and bolt and nut in the dome light. Anyone know where these are missing from?

That looks like the "secondary" release for the pop-top. The thing you push after unlocking with the handle that moves left to right. |

That's what it is. They come loose pretty easy. I just used loctite on mine as it was always coming loose. |
