Spotted this Green Westy while out shopping yesterday. Owner left me a note on my window saying howdy. Always fun to run into other VW Van owners while out and about in Sacramento. _________________ 1989 Sally the Syncro.....she is a work in progress. 1.8T and tuned...she scoots up the hills...watch for flying dog drool out the windows.

White tin top on mass pike westbound last Tuesday, aug 6 about 5-6pm
Exited at Springfield
I honked horn and the extra current used left me a mile short of home in my Tesla D cell model _________________ .ssS! |

Spotted a mile from my house. At a local antique shop.

My son and I went for a trip around Lake superior (US part at least)
Met a few VW people on the way, saw a few others but wasn't able to get a shot.
Hey Dave!
Rich and (son?) on their maiden run with this nice rig:
Tom and Marianne's rig, He says that the GW 2.3, stock but freshly replaced bushings, Bilstein xhd, stock springs, and GW rims made it great. She nods and adds that its the Recaro's that top that cake.
These folks waved, this is northbound on 35W in St Paul.
Then there was a light blue westy on MN 61 north of Castle Danger for sale.
Return trip, southbound on 35W in St Paul we saw a burgundy tintop broken down on the other side of the freeway (sorry no pics), couldn't get there to help there was such a backup of traffic over there, and we had to scoot to make a deadline (kids needed to get back to their homies).
In Ashland WI, saw a white T3 with a nice looking couple doing chainsaw art under the awning or maybe an eZ-up. Didn't catch a pic, but honked and they waived..
And, this was the only T4 Westy I saw on the trip.. Nice chap, Nikolai!
