I had a benchtop engine stand made by GEDORE and had no need for it, so I checked the classifieds to see what other people had up and the price they were asking. Average price was about $25.00+shipping, so I figured the one I had was alittle beefier I'd ask $35.00+shipping, so I placed the ad. When I came home from work yesterday and checked my emails, I had 18 emails about the engine stand. I knew at that point it had to have some value, so I checked some stuff out made by gedore on e-bay and saw an old wrench for jags that was up at $128.00. At that point I figured some one made out with my price of $35+sh..
SO, whats the story with GEDORE and what do you think this should have sold for??

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Is it more of a porshe item rather then VW??
Sorry to say it sold and the lucky guy got it for a total of $65.00shipped to him  I guess I have another happy customer

There was an identical Gedore setup sitting at Kelly Park this year, except this one also had the floor stand and an accessory tray for holding parts/tools. Asking price was $125 and it sat there all day. A friend of mine offered $50 and took it home.
The Matra heads/adapters are much beefier than those, and can be bought for about $200-$300. |

| I worked for the importer of Gedore in Australia for a year or so. Gedore is german made and everthing is just about unbreakable we had only 1 or 2 returns in that time. Never seen anything as cool as that though! |

Tool company, direct competitor with Hazet. Same town _ Remscheid in Germany. Also produced Dowidat
Did produce some VW specific tool/kits.
