Are there any of the aftermarket lifters that uses the "SNAP-in" clips so the push rod stay fixed to the lifter, like the 356 preA system?

Thanks, looks nice but very pricey.
If you go for a lifter without the "snap-in" system, can the lifter then fall into the sump if you take the push rod out?

Yes, they are pricey!

No, they won't fall into the sump as long as you have a camshaft installed. The clips just make installation/removal easier.

Cheers,

Paul

I have a set of Blackline lifters I purchased at 5+ years ago. I have no idea if they're still available.
