WOW! awesome thread. I am curious though, I have a 64 as well and I noticed you had rear heat. Was that optioned or factory? I don't have that in mine, wish I did though. Really cool bus man.

passenger buses with seats had rear heat, the others did not. Crewcab have rear passenger heat as well, but a different style.

Is there a large difference between the 1600sp and the 1776?

Ever wonder why the decklid prop digs into your arm every time you need to do something on the right side? It's on backwards. The "fingers" on the end should be pointing to the right and hide behind the bracket with rollers when fully opened. Like this:

Thanks to Pyr0man for the pics.

Thanks! The co-pilot was getting thirsty

A HUGE difference between the 1776 and the 1600sp. I rarely have to downshift going up hills now

We have a big road trip planned for the bus this summer so I bought some less aggressive tires for the long ride. Also have some WW bus wheels on the way.
The less aggressive set are Firestone Destinations 215/75 15s

Great build! Love the look and stance.

BTW, I'm jealous of all the adventures you Missouri boys are always taking. I wish we had a similar scene up here.

We all assume the scene is more vibrant in the northwest than Missouri. I have never been but I have noticed a ton of buses coming from your area.
