On my 1999 VR6, on the DS, front, on the crack pipe, there are 3 sensors it appears, and the one closest to the DS is seeping antifreeze. Anyone know what size O ring it is, or maybe if I take it off, and put back on, maybe it will reseal? |

It will not reseal, unless you use copious amounts of sealant. The sensor seal is readily available at any VW or Audi dealer, or almost any parts store as these O-rings are used on almost every water cooled VW from 1988 to present.
Use dealer ones if possible as the aftermarket ones seem to be made from some organic gelatin & turn to goo within a few months. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Yes, that looks like the right one, autohouseaz is a good company to order from. If you have a vw dealer nearby, I would just go get one there, probably cheaper once you add shipping... _________________ foam cowboy hats aren't good helmets. |
