I've had a set of Autozone (Duralast) plug wires on my Beetle for the past 12 years or so. It's just a fair weather car so it doesn't see too many miles, but I've never had an issue with plug wires. And yes, so long as you keep the receipt there's a lifetime exchange policy. (Supposedly, you can do the same with their brake pads too...)

I just installed these on a motor I rebuilt for my '73 Super. We'll see how they do. Can't beat the price!

Me too. Just put a set on and the distributor 'booties' fit very snug and tight. The plug end 'booties' seals are a little 'thin' but seem to work.
