This will be my first build thread, wanted to document all the work that Ill be doing plus have a place to ask questions and get some feedback on any issues that arise (I've already ran into more than a few).
My wife is pretty awesome and got me a beetle for a wedding present!
Its a 67 and she is pretty dam rusty. This will be my first resto-mod but I feel I can tackle most of the work on my own, one thing at a time.
On to the pics...

Doesn't look too bad actually. Java green is a sweet color! _________________ '67 Beetle L41

Unfortunately, only one pic per your google drive links. I've had success with link to photobucket albums (see my sig area.) As charlie commented, you should upload any photos you want to display in your posts to the Gallery. That'll ensure no dead links. And we all want to see photos of your progress; looks like you're off to a good start. How many bolts did you break removing the fenders and running boards ?

Welcome!
But you shouldn't talk about the wife like that!

Yeah, you should do a search for a bunch of old build threads and other discussions on '67 stuff, then see how many of them are now useless because the pics are all dead and the posters are long-gone...complete disservice to TheSamba. If you're going to tap this community for knowledge and support, return the favor by posting the pics to TheSamba. |
