Just picked up a 78 Westy. New battery installed. When I shut her off, she will
not restart. Lights in dash come on and fan gets power in engine. Seems like no power to starter. It was looked at and the said the problem occurred but they cleaned the contacts on the starter relay and could not reproduce. I am sitting in a Columbus now at a hotel trying to get the van to start but no luck!
Any guesses? |

Not when this happens. Just lights on for the battery and oil pressure. |

Post this in the Bay window forum. Or better yet copy link. And post in bay forum so it’s not a double post. Need more info on engine and set up. Like is it Fuel injected? Carburetor? Electronic or points in distributor? Will be more questions. Give whatever details you know about engine also if you can. Post some pictures _________________ Keep on Busin'
