... just cannot hold still on this - too much excitement.
I am posting it here, 'cause there were some trailer threads in this forum I saw when I did a little research. Also, the plan is to tow it behind my bus (I know, I know ... weight, power, brakes andandand, but ... I have a plan).
I found and bought it in Germany and will bring it back to the US in Summer 2019. I have not seen it in person yet (bought it sight unseen). Hence the modest pictures.
Browsing for information on the trailer, I found the TROPI pic here and am positive it's the same model:
Single flap, body-/roof-shape, door in the rear center, vent on top, counter set-up, fender-well cut out shape.
Luckily it has a Westfalia tag on it indicating that it is a 1955. Interior furniture, inner roof and floor seem in decent shape, frame seems good.
It's hard to find any information on these - even the double flaps seem more common. I don't think it had a model name other than "Verkaufsstand".
I'd appreciate any info or pics you guys have on this model.
Thank you!

Definitely looks like the same model. This one also looks similar from the outside:

Wow. From the photos you have posted, looks fantastic.
I'm looking forward to seeing more when/as you have more photos, and/or once you have it here in the States. _________________ ----------------------------------------------------------

Altfraenkischer Magenbitter is made in Marktredwitz. Is that where it is from? Just asking out of curiosity since that is close to where i am from originally _________________ regards

.... finally it came to California (almost a year later), but I got right on it.
First off I had to get the paint of — it's going well with Citristrip, but takes time to peel the layers:
The interior seems not to be missing anything and many details remind me of the Westy Campers like an SO23 I had a few years ago:
I decided to clean up the interior to get a brake from stripping. Sooo much limba wood. _________________ _______________________

I am not sure what I am going to do with it. I found a card for Gaby's Asparagus in it and contacted the person. The trailer has been in her family from the beginning in 1955. It was originally used to sell cigars at markets and fairs around Würzburg. I am waiting for more info, hopefully pictures from her ... we'll see. _________________ _______________________

What are the odds of your yellow Westy trailer being assigned a yellow flatbed tow truck to deliver it to you? Or did you pull some strings? Awesome trailer!
