Lind, thanks for the first right of refusal on the dangly thing but I'm good, it's all you.
Here's a pic of a keychain I found for the bus and the old classified ad for it when it was for sale years ago. Corey brought the clipping, notes attached, to the Yakima show and surprised me with it, thanks Corey.

great to see this bus on the road. congrats aaron!
i love those era stripes on the decklid. whatever speed and power you lose with a roofrack, those stripes give it right back. you can ditch the SMV magnet.

i thought that was a 54? it should have a rear bumper right? _________________ 58 euro vert

the bumper was just not installed at the time due to missing splash pans which can result in "wiggly bumper syndrome". _________________ drive your split. |

Damm, called out for faking the funk.
The bumper was actually off because the original brackets are kind of hammered, the fact that it looks cooler without it didn't help get it reinstalled. The bus does have its original rear bumper, I was stripping the paint on it the other day and uncovered a University of Minnesota parking permit sticker from the early '60s.
I've got another set of brackets/pans and will get the bumper back on one of these days. |

How about an update on this great story? Is it finished and sitting in someone's garage? _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches |

So, does anyone know where this bus is sitting these days? I heard Aaron sold/traded it. I could be wrong. _________________ nothing |

Pretty sure that is the last time I saw the Bemidji Barndoor. That was at a Spring Fling show in Bellevue, WA several years back. Aaron had built a really cool front trans mount as part of the lowering job. _________________ nothing |
