It looks like a ball style lug. What wheels are you using it with? The lug style needs to match the wheels.

14" steel wheels and 15" steel wheels. So likely ball seat but neither are stock so wanted to be sure

I don’t know if “spherical” is correct terminology.
But the bolts noted are OEM from Audi 5000 wheels.
But maybe the pic helps.
I eventually bought “ball seat” nuts from T3 Technique.

Note that there are 12mm and 14mm radius ball seat lugs/studs.
It is common for M12 lugs to have to 12mm seat and same for M14, however some cars, (some Audi’s for sure) are M14 with a 12mm radius.
