Pre A - A interchange thread

Wanted to start this thread to save time and help folks as well as invite folks to post what they know. This thread is about what on a pre A and A 356 will work- fit between the models. For example 519 transmissions work with pre A and early A. The same with monkey motion shifter mechanisms. Brakes are the same with minor differences but will fit.Taillights are interchangeable through mid 1957. Window frames in the doors interchange. There are more, please post! Also feel free to correct me if needed, also feel free to be as specific as you would like to be. Post pictures as well if you feel it will really be helpful.
