My nephew saw this and relayed to me that the interior is about 50% complete...looks to me like the back end is standing tall and two engine heads are inside...

In the past and for various other vehicles...I've spent many hours over different days at this particular pickapart and can't say how long this camper might stay here before it's recycled.

I wanted to post this to help somebody find soon to be disappeared og parts.

best regards and good luck

Right? Yessiree. they list it as a 1962, but it sure looks later than that to me...it is the right row number though 809

Pick a part south llc, Google map

8901 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22407

Again maybe it will help somebody either fix theirs or save this one.

That is a 1972 westy. The rear air vents are squared off.

Hello,
Does Pickapart let you buy the whole vehicle, NOW??? Confused .
Back when, they would only sell you parts, not the whole vehicle. Interesting if so....

That could be my old 72. Either way Id buy the whole enchilada sight unseen. Rust free by any standards. In New England thats a wicked pissa bus. I could cry when I think about the hours I spent making sweet love in that bus for it to now be on the butcher block. Crying or Very sad

Hilarious, maybe it is...lol...i spoke with my nephew yesterday and he said that they do indeed sell whole vehicles. They open at 8:30 today and their number is 5406931028. It would be interesting to see how much they want for it. Again, I hope it helps somebody find parts or even a new project. There are not many of these around anymore...see my post on "how many are still around the United States".
Poor little feller...out there in the cold...getting rained on...future uncertain...if only....

I sent a message to Jeremy at the volkswear garage from youtwoob. I enjoy watching his Volkswagen recovery videos and remembered he might want it...let's see how this story goes shall we?

He does look kinda sad sitting there. Bumper sort of in a frown, headlights looking at the ground... Sad

Somebody save him!

Hey hansie, thanks for the info and that is really disheartening to hear. Well at least now I/we know. Poor little feller...such a sad ending...it also seems that it's too far away from Jeremy at volkswear...Well thanks for following up. Who knows how it will end...

On further thought, that might actually be a loophole...how many parts are really actually left on that shell? the right sweet talker might purchase the body, windows, seats and doors and get the rest thrown in...I wanna check their pricelists to add up how much it would cost to buy all the pieces separately...from personal experience on different vehicles, the prices were reasonable...
