Hello Juan,
It was a delay to get the rubber material due to the manufacturer having a problem with one component supplier. They reformulated the product and should be delivered to me in about a week!
I have everything else ready and I am ready to start production!

Production resumed!
Tomorrow I'll finish the 5th LLW complete set for this week! Next week I will get more material to continue production and start shipping boxes!
As I mentioned, the supplier had a problem getting one of the raw materials and they just got enough to produce one batch, sufficient for the pending orders and around 20 more sets. At this point, they are officially discontinuing this product, so I am getting it all. This means that I may not be able to produce many more sets, so if you want to own a set, this is the time to place your order. Soon it will be a time that I won't be able to take more orders.

Shipping now!!!
Today I shipped the first 3 boxes from last week's production!
Friday or Saturday I'll ship two more.
The material should arrive on Friday or Monday and should be enough for most of the backorders!
I will keep you updated!

Material arrived!
The first half of the order arrived! Basically it is enough to produce all backorders, and in a couple of weeks, the next half will be here and I will have materiaL FOR NEW ORDERS!
This week I'll do 5 sets of LowLight mats and 5 sets of '60s mats!
I'm shipping today the last 2 boxes of last week.
Thank you all for your patience and support!

Wondering if lowlights with mats such as Luis is reproducing had any other protection on the floor. My Luis mats are so nice (and precious) I am sorely tempted to put down mats on my mats! _________________ 1973 Porsche 914 2.0

Yes, I remember those! I recall they shed and retain moisture but they are replaceable — and I will not be putting anything wet on them.

Well I have done exactly that. Day to day driving I have the front carpet set mats to protect Luis' mats...when I get to a show, the carpet mats are stowed in the back to reveal my lovely set of rubber.
My '59 Beetle had a very rare set of original RHD rubber mats including the bulkhead one. They were overlaid with Coco mats. _________________ John.

Thanks for the confirmation John!
Any knowledge concerning actual original practice? I imagine the rubber mats were used as is with no thought of wear and tear. _________________ 1973 Porsche 914 2.0

Hey John, it would be better if you put the Luis mats in the back and use the carpet for the daily use, as the carpet will damage the rubber mats. As you use the car, the dirt gets under the carpet and acts like sandpaper. _________________ Cheers,
